ph3Location /h3 pBarcelona or Madrid /p h3About the Role /h3 pAs a Senior Medical Writer, you will take a leading role in developing scientifically rigorous and creatively engaging communication materials that support clients’ medical and promotional strategies. You will act as a trusted expert for both internal teams and clients, providing strategic scientific input, guiding junior writers, and ensuring excellence from concept to delivery. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead the development of scientific content, ensuring alignment with client goals, brand strategy, and industry best practices. /li liProvide strategic scientific direction during content planning and campaign execution. /li liConduct and oversee bibliographic research, ensuring all materials are accurate, evidence-based, and compliant. /li liWrite, edit, and adapt complex scientific materials—including slide decks, monographs, publications, and training documents—maintaining clarity, accuracy, and adherence to guidelines. /li liOversee the preparation and delivery of complete reference sets using Veeva, ensuring quality and compliance. /li liManage client feedback processes, ensuring timely integration and consistency across deliverables. /li liBuild and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to support content development and approvals. /li liMentor junior writers, providing feedback, guidance,



and support in skill development. /li liRepresent the medical writing function in client meetings, contributing to strategic discussions and providing scientific expertise. /li /ul h3About You /h3 ul liMust have a health science degree (e.g., in biology, pharmacy or medicine). PhD is a plus. /li li5 years of experience in medical writing and scientific content supervision in marketing and advertising contexts. /li liAbility to communicate medical/technical information to a wide variety of audiences. /li liAbility to work in a deadline-driven environment. /li liAttention to detail and absolute reliability in meeting delivery deadlines. /li liTeam player who can foster positive relationships between the department and other agency teams, such as creatives and account managers. /li liExperience with reference managers such as EndNote is a plus. /li /ul pOmnicom Health is committed to hiring and developing exceptional talent.
