Cipriani Ibiza is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head Cashier who can embody the essence of Cipriani Hospitality, for the 2025 summer season in Ibiza.

POSITION PURPOSE:
The position of Head Cashier plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of transactions while maintaining a high standard of service for our guests. You will manage all aspects of cashiering, supervise the cash handling process, and ensure that our guests' needs are met with precision and professionalism. The idóneo candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills to work in a fast-paced and luxurious environment.Possibility of relocation in other properties of the Company, at the end of the season.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

- Perform daily cashiering tasks, including managing cash registers, processing payments (cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment), and ensuring accurate accounting.
- Assist guests with payment inquiries and resolve any issues related to billing or payment discrepancies in a polite, professional, and timely manner.
- Work collaboratively with the service and management team to ensure smooth and efficient operations during all shifts.
- Ensure all transactions are completed accurately and efficiently, with no errors in billing or change.
- Manage and balance cash drawers, ensuring all receipts and records are properly documented at the end of each shift.
- Handle and report any issues or discrepancies to the Manager.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming cashier area.
- Provide exemplary service to guests, addressing any special requests or concerns with professionalism and care.




- Ensure that all transactions adhere to the company’s policies and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar cashier role, preferably in high-end restaurants, luxury hotels, or similar hospitality settings.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to handle cash and process electronic payments accurately.
- Experience in managing POS systems and other forms of payment.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:

- Able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for an extended period of time.
- Able to lift up to 25lbs. and on a regular and continuing basis.
- Able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, twist, walk, crouch, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks.
- Manual dexterity required to use and operate all necessary equipment.
- Talking, hearing and seeing (vision) occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, Supervisors and other Employees.
