Legal Counsel (Spanish Real Spanish).

An AI-driven legal professional for a fast-growing, international developer.

Are you a Spanish legal professional who already uses Artificial Intelligence as a natural part of your daily work, and wants to build the legal function of a fast-growing, international real estate developer?

At The Art of Living in Spain (TAOLIS) we are looking for an ambitious Legal Counsel to strengthen our legal department. You will handle high-value real estate transactions, investment projects, corporate matters and international contracts inside a company that moves quickly and works smart.

This is not a traditional legal role. We are looking for someone in the early-to-mid stage of their career who believes AI is transforming the legal profession, and already uses tools like Claude, Claude Legal or ChatGPT to deliver better legal work in less time.

The Art of Living in Spain is one of Spain’s leading developers of luxury residential and hospitality projects, working with clients and investors across Europe. We are expanding rapidly and building a modern, technology-first legal function to match.

What you’ll do

- Draft, review and negotiate contracts (Spanish and English), in close collaboration with our General Counsel
- Support real estate acquisitions, sales and due diligence
- Redesign and speed up legal workflows using AI
- Work closely with external lawyers, notaries and public authorities





What we’re looking forMUST-HAVES
- Law degree from a Spanish university (Grado en Derecho or equivalent), full bar admission (colegiado) is a plus but not required
- Native or near-native Spanish and fluent English, spoken and written
- 5–10 years of legal experience
- Hands-on experience actively using AI tools in legal work (e.G. Claude, Claude Legal, ChatGPT) to work faster and more accurately, this is essential, not a nice-to-have
- Strong drafting, analytical and organisational skills
- Able to work independently, efficiently and commercially

NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience at a property developer or real estate company
- Experience with international clients and cross-border transactions
