In this strategic role, you will define the architectural vision, establish secure integration patterns, and guide engineering teams in building scalable, maintainable, and future-proof solutions. ?

? Your Mission

As Digital Platform Architect, you will:

- Define and govern the target architecture across Mobile, Web, and BFF layers
- Establish architectural principles supporting scalability, extensibility, and maintainability
- Define API strategies, integration patterns, and platform boundaries
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security-by-design principles
- Lead technical decisions, architecture governance, and solution discussions
- Evaluate technologies, frameworks, and architectural approaches
- Identify technical risks and define mitigation strategies
- Support architecture spikes, PoCs, and MVP initiatives
- Coach engineering teams and promote best practices
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, developers, architects, and business stakeholders

? Your Expertise

?️ Architecture & Platform Skills

- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Software Architect, or Platform Architect
- Strong experience designing enterprise digital platforms and integration ecosystems




- Expertise defining architectures across Mobile, Web, APIs, and distributed systems
- Strong knowledge of API-first architectures and integration patterns
- Extensive experience with REST APIs, lifecycle management, and versioning
- Good understanding of Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) architectures
- Experience with modular, component-based, cloud-based, and distributed architectures

? Security & Identity Expertise

You have a strong Security-by-Design mindset and hands-on experience with:

- OAuth2 and OpenID Connect (OIDC)
- Identity & Access Management (IAM) integrations
- Authentication and authorization architectures
- API security principles
- Secure integration patterns

You are able to define and implement enterprise-grade authorization models across Web, Mobile, and BFF ecosystems.

- Able to simplify complex technical concepts

- Experience working in Agile environments
- Dutch mandatory, or ?? French with strong Dutch knowledge
- English mandatory
