Role Description
Balearic & Shore handling is seeking a Head of Area to lead the work of a team of associates at our Ibiza location. As a Head of Area you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination, execution and planning of services provided to vessels calling at the port. The role requires an operationally experienced and proactive individual who is capable of handling complex situations while maintaining excellent communication skills. The head of Area position is a full-time on-site role in Ibiza.
Qualifications
- Bachelors’ degree in a relevant field such as business management, logistics or maritime sector will be prioritized but is not essential.
- Fluency is Spanish and English languages




- Prior experience in a similar field or role with experience in leading teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage complex situations
- A proactive approach and ability to quickly adapt to new situations
- Valid European driving licence.
