Offer Description
We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join the Epigenetics and Single-Cell Dynamics Lab at IBMB-CSIC in Barcelona ( ). Applications from senior postdoctoral researchers are particularly encouraged.
The Project:
This ERC-funded project focuses on cellular memory —the epigenetic and transcriptional states that allow daughter cells to retain features of their ancestors. Disruption of these processes can lead to loss of cell identity, contributing to ageing and diseases such as cancer.



The successful candidate will investigate the molecular mechanisms that maintain cellular memory and explore how their failure drives cellular heterogeneity and dysfunction.
Requirements
Research Field Biological sciences Education Level PhD or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications
PhD in molecular biology, genomics, bioengineering, or related fields.
First-author publications in high-quality journals (required).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Specific Requirements
Experience in cell culture
Skilled molecular cloning
Expertise in sequencing library preparation
Hands-on experience with CRISPR techniques
International research experience
Languages ENGLISH Level Excellent
