Infrastructure Engineers are responsible for delivering a best-in-class on-premise engineering capability for the products and platforms at Maersk. Engineers act as a trusted advisor with hands-on keyboard execution, helping the products team succeed by ensuring guardrails, governance, and security standards are adhered to. Engineers bring the necessary expertise on how to engineer for non-functional requirements (NFR) and infrastructure in the datacenters that makes the right way to deliver products the easy way. Engineers excel at providing robust, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure from the datacenters.

The person, based in Barcelona, will be responsible for:

- Supporting and maintaining the compute and networking environment

- Implementing and executing infrastructure monitoring

- Resolving incidents within agreed SLA's

- Implementing change on environment without unplanned service interruption

- Ensuring optimum health and operation of systems and environment





- Ensuring full compliance to cyber security configurations and standards

- Providing 7x24 robust, secure and cost-efficient infrastructure services

- Keeping up to date with new technologies and how this enables new industrial technologies

The candidate will be also consulted about Terminal compute and network setup and configurations and technical impact of new technology implementations.

We are looking for a person with:

- In-depth knowledge and expertise on industry standard compute and network technologies and standards

- Solid experience in designing and implementing secure compute and network solutions

- Willing to travel sporadically

- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills - essential for collaborating with diverse teams

- Good command of English
