Job Description
Based at Airbus Defense & Space facilities in Seville, working on the A400M Final Assembly Line (FAL), you will work alongside the Field Support Engineer already on site, and will report to the FAL & FSR Manager based in Toulouse (France).
As Safran Landing System (SLS) representative on site, receiving on-demand support from local sub-contractors and/or other Safran LS teams if necessary, you will support planning, coordination and, to a certain extent,
completion of the corrective actions required to ensure conformity and airworthiness of the Safran LS supplies delivered to the FAL, within the planning constraints imposed by the Customer.
Embodiment of design modifications and/or specific upgrades as required by the Customer to reflect the latest design evolutions ;
Troubleshooting investigations and problem correction on A/C in case of mis-functioning reported by the Customer ;
Correction of any defect or damage reported by the Customer on the equipment subsequent to its delivery to the FAL ;
Any other Customer request requiring intervention of a Service Engineer at FAL.
Accordingly, the main missions you will have under your responsibility, shared with your colleagues on site, are the following :
Organise and monitor the logistic aspects on site so as to ensure continued activity at FAL
Define and monitor the needs for spare parts / consumables
Define and monitor the needs in terms of tooling, ensuring adequate calibration where applicable
Define and monitor the needs for individual protection equipments
Follow-up all equipments removed from A/C (storage in quarantine / shipment back to the OEM)
Identify the needs for additional resources if any and coordinate the organisation of all interventions at FAL (incl. major working parties) – NB : the perimeter of intervention encompasses landing gear structure, system equipments and wheels & brakes ;
Lead the investigation actions for root cause analysis and problem resolution on Safran LS supplies integrated within the A/C system ;
Record all traceability information required within Safran LS internal information system and in the Customer information system ;
Organise and manage the workshop area allocated to Safran LS by Airbus D&S; at FAL :
Storage of spare parts,
consumables and individual protection equipments
Management of quarantine area
Traceability of all logistic flows in and out the workshop, especially for parts and equipments removed from A/C ;
Ensure exhaustive follow-up of all expenses driven by Safran LS support activity at Airbus D&S; FAL within the allocated budget ;
Ensure regular and complete reporting to Safran LS Program and CS teams :
Interventions completed,
Weak signal reports,
Customer feedback,
Difficulties anticipated,
Planning and resource anticipation
Qualification & Skills
Technician with good experience in assembly or maintenance, on mechanical and/or hydraulic products, demonstrating solid knowledge in mechanics, hydraulics and systems.
