As a Principal Engineer in the Integrated Supply Chain, you drive high-impact cost optimization and supply resilience initiatives for life-saving medical products. You will collaborate with Procurement, Ru0026amp;D, Quality, Operations, and suppliers to improve margins while maintaining compliance and performance. The role blends technical analyses, cross-functional leadership, and project execution across integral sites. You will shape future state initiatives and lead complex optimization projects that scale across EMEA and APAC. • Identify and evaluate total cost optimization opportunities across materials, components, and processes with focus on insourcing, alternate sourcing, and value engineering; align with site and Manufacturing Strategy for future state.
• Perform structured should-cost, clean-sheet, and teardown analyses.




• Lead a cross-functional technical team through planning and execution of projects using engineering/scientific methods.
• Build accurate schedules, drive core team activities, and guide technical support groups.

• Facilitate cross-functional Continuous Improvement, Kaizen and Cost Optimization events to generate and prioritize ideas.
Responsabilidades
• Minimum 5 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in an engineering field
• Experience in regulated industries such as medical, pharma and automotive preferred
• Experience leading cross-functional projects end-to-end using structured project management methods
• Strong communication skills and cross-functional influence
• Willingness to travel
