As a Cost Manager at Arcadis in Madrid or Barcelona, you will drive cost control across multiple projects, ensuring budgets, compliance, and quality standards are met. You will work within the Cost Management team to deliver accurate financial insights and support tendering, risk assessment, and post-contract administration. Your leadership and digital mindset will help optimize cost performance for varied asset types, including data centers and hospitality. This role offers meaningful impact through sustainable, well-managed projects and cross-functional collaboration.
Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Perform technical due diligence audits of installations, specifications, and maintenance docs to assess regulatory compliance and asset life
• Prepare pre-contract cost estimates and project cash-flow
• Advise on contractual matters and validate contractor estimates
• Draft tender documentation, evaluate bids, and validate contractor costs
• Identify and respond to potential risks and monitor contractor compliance with contracts




• Validate change orders and update cost forecasts accordingly
• Oversee project costs, progression payments, variations, and cost control reporting
• Provide financial progress reports and post-contract administration
• Lead cost/budget, scope, schedule, and resource management for projects
• Monitor contractor performance to ensure alignment with forecasts and quality standards
Responsabilidades
• Minimum 6 years of experience in cost management
• University degree in Construction Management (Building Surveying) xqbhyrx or Architecture
• Experience in Data Centers/MEP and Hospitality preferred
• Proven knowledge of MS Office and MS Project
• Technical proficiency in measurement, cost estimating, construction technology, contracts and law
• Experience in a consultancy environment a plus
• Strong client-facing, organizational, and self-motivated work style
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to lead and work in a team
• MRICS or equivalent is an asset but not required
