Therefore, we are seeking a visionary Hotel Director / General Manager (Director/a de Hotel 5)* in Marbella, Spain .
In this senior executive role, you will hold primary responsibility for directing hotel operations. Consequently, you will drive business success to achieve financial targets. At the same time, you will elevate guest satisfaction and strengthen corporate brand prestige. Working within luxury industry trends, you will oversee budget management and revenue strategies. Job Description: Hotel Director 5 (General Manager)* Your Mission: Executive Leadership & 5-Star Luxury Excellence Your primary goal involves driving business operational success. To achieve this, you will lead El Robusto Marbella toward profitability and brand growth. Therefore, you will oversee annual budgeting and analyze monthly P&L; statements. Additionally, you will optimize cost structures and monitor key luxury KPIs (RevPAR, GOP, TRevPAR, EBITDA). You will also guide revenue management strategies and supervise online brand reputation. As a result, you will eliminate operational bottlenecks and preserve our hotel’s legacy of high-end hospitality.




Your Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning & Control: Prepare the annual operating budget. Furthermore, analyze monthly P&L; deviations, optimize costs for luxury standards, and manage CAPEX investments.
Commercial & Revenue Strategy: Partner with commercial teams to define sales strategies. Consequently, you will drive upselling, direct marketing plans, and cultivate key B2B relationships.
Luxury Quality Standards: Enforce high service benchmarks across the entire guest journey. Additionally, manage internal and external quality audits while overseeing sustainability certifications.
Talent Leadership & Development: Inspire and lead hotel personnel to foster a culture of excellence. Moreover, design clear career development plans and collaborate closely with HR.
Legal Compliance & Safety: Supervise occupational health and safety protocols (PRL). Thus, you will ensure full workplace security compliance and safeguard data protection policies.
Corporate & Stakeholder Relations: Report regularly to corporate leadership and property owners. In addition, act as the primary brand ambassador before institutions, media, and industry events.
Who You Are: The Visionary & Seasoned Luxury Hotelier Educational Background: You hold a Degree in Tourism, Business Administration, or Economics. Credentials from prestigious hospitality management schools are highly valued.
Proven Executive Experience:



You bring at least 5 years of experience as a Hotel Director within 5-star luxury environments. Prior background with networks like The Leading Hotels of the World or Preferred Hotels & Resorts is strongly preferred.
The Linguist: You possess C1-level proficiency in English alongside fluent Spanish. Command of additional international languages is considered a valuable asset.
Software Fluency: You demonstrate proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and hotel software tools. Furthermore, you feel comfortable using executive Office Suite applications.
Leadership Competencies: You exhibit exceptional financial acumen and strategic vision. Consequently, you bring strong crisis resolution skills and inspiring team leadership to the role.
