Chemistry Researcher (Masters/PhDs) - AI Training

This is a fully remote, versátil contract role built for scientists who love their field and want to apply their expertise in a high-impact, innovative way. No AI background needed — your chemistry knowledge is what matters.

What You'll Do
- Design, solve, and review advanced chemistry problems with real-world scientific relevance
- Apply your expertise in organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry to create complex, meaningful problem statements
- Evaluate AI-generated chemistry reasoning for scientific accuracy, depth, and rigor
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to improve how AI models think through chemistry
- Ensure clarity, precision, and scientific integrity across all deliverables
- Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Holds a Master's or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field
- Deep expertise in one or more of: organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry
- Comfortable working with Python or computational chemistry tools (e.g., Gaussian, VASP)
- Exceptional written communicator — you can explain complex chemistry clearly and precisely
- Detail-oriented and rigorous in your scientific thinking
- Fluent in English
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
- Familiarity with molecular modeling, simulation, or cheminformatics tools
- Background in academic research, industry R&D;, or scientific publishing
- Experience reviewing or grading advanced chemistry coursework or examinations
