Experteer Overview As Senior Credit Research Analyst in Zurich’s Credit Research team, you will perform deep fundamental analysis of issuers across portfolios and shape investment recommendations. You’ll work closely with Portfolio Managers, asset management leaders, and cross-functional partners to assess credit quality and sector dynamics. - Analyse credit issuers’ financial profiles and roles within investment portfolios
- Assess issuers’ financial performance, capital structure, governance and credit quality factors
- Deliver clear investment recommendations to support portfolio management
- Produce periodic credit opinions, ad-hoc analyses and news-flow assessments
- Develop sector expertise and act as a thought leader for covered industries
- Generate instrument-level investment ideas through quantitative analysis and present with conviction
- Participate in weekly research and PM calls to share insights and contribute to market strategy
- Respond promptly to ad-hoc requests from Portfolio Management, Risk and other teams on credit quality
- Support governance, controls and process efficiency within Credit Research




- Champion technology and best-practice analytic frameworks across team processes
- Collaborate with experts in various technological domains to enhance capabilitiesResponsabilidades
- Bachelor or higher in business, economics, finance, engineering or related quantitative field; finance-focused postgraduate qualification preferred
- CFA charterholder or progress towards designation is an advantage
- Minimum five years of relevant experience in investment banking, accounting, rating agency or institutional investor
- Thorough understanding of credit analysis and ability to perform deep-dive fundamental issuer research
- Expert knowledge of financial statement analysis, rating methodologies, fixed income markets and instruments
- Solid grasp of portfolio management fundamentals and ALM investing
- Proficiency in Bloomberg, Capital IQ and Excel; experience applying AI tools to quantitative analysis
- Fluent English (written and spoken); Spanish or other Western European languages advantageous
