As a remote‑first institution, we use technology and AI to enable versátil, personalized learning – accessible from anywhere in the world.Remote WorkAll positions are completely remote but working hours are Central European Time (+/- 2h).About the RoleYour main tasks will include:Accounting & Close Management – Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles, including preparatory bookkeeping, coordination with external advisors, managing AR/AP, handling intercompany bookings, bank reconciliations, and preparing reporting packs for internal and external audiences.Revenue Operations – Send invoices to customers, perform dunning, automate processes, run Stripe reconciliations, investigate failed‑payment cases, and ensure accurate revenue recognition.Cash Management – Own day‑to‑day liquidity management, process invoices and expenses, make payments, coordinate with HR on payroll, and flag issues before they become problems.FP&A Support – Maintain and develop financial models, forecasts and budgets used to steer the business; maintain data pipelinesthat feed into plans, ensuring timely, accurate and reliable data.Process & Systems Improvement – Identify and implement automation, reporting pipelines and workflow improvements that help the finance function scale.Fundraising Support – Maintain organized,
up‑to‑date financial records and documentation and support due diligence data rooms for potential funding or partnership opportunities.Finance‑Adjacent Projects – Exposure to grants, transfer pricing, intercompany governance, fundraising, legal and compliance, HR.Qualifications We Are Looking For3–6 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a solid grounding in accounting principles and familiarity with German HGB.Hands‑on experience with financial closes, reconciliations, and reporting.Strong financial modelling skills (Excel/Google Sheets) and experience building and working with forecasts and scenario models.Fluency with accounting software (e.G. DATEV, Sevdesk), spend management tools (e.G. Spendesk, Moss), payment platforms (e.G. Stripe) and AI (e.G.
