Experteer Overview In this role you will lead pro-active credit control for our Continental Europe market, ensuring timely collection and collaboration across finance, underwriting, claims and brokers. You will analyze trends, escalate overdue accounts, and support cash allocation to protect profitability and cash flow. Based in Barcelona or Madrid, you work with cross-functional teams to resolve queries and drive continuous improvement. - Pro-active credit control and follow-up on overdue accounts
- Escalate overdue items to management and monitor action points from review meetings
- Analyze debt trends and propose recommendations to reduce overdue debt
- Allocate cash to receivables and handle cash allocations
- Address queries from collections operations and tax department
- File documentation and maintain activity records
- Investigate and resolve challenging accounts with timely action




- Collaborate with Finance, Underwriting, Claims, brokers and clients to resolve technical issues
- Perform ad hoc duties as directed by Line ManagerResponsabilidades
- 5+ years in a similar credit control role within the Insurance/reinsurance market in Continental Europe
- Experience in Insurance sector credit control, especially co-insurance
- Experience with Aged Debt Reporting and analysis
- Strong Excel skills at Proficient Level (including macros)
- Strong understanding of business processes and systems
- Ability to work on own initiative and challenge existing procedures
- Strong technical credit control skills and knowledge of co-insurance procedures
