ResponsabilidadesWe’re looking for an experienced Senior Underwriter to join our growing Custom team in Spain. This is a high-impact role where you’ll take ownership of underwriting new business and managing a portfolio, while building strong broker relationships and contributing to commercial growth.You’ll operate within your underwriting authority, working across potentially multi-line business, and playing a key role in delivering strong financial and customer outcomes.Underwriting & Portfolio Management- Underwrite new business and renewals within your authority level- Assess risks, price and structure deals, and produce accurate quotes- Manage policy issuance and amendments- Monitor and manage renewals, including non-tacit business- Support portfolio performance tracking and improvementsBroker Development & Sales- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers across your region [- Support business development through meetings, presentations,



and training- Contribute to growth, retention, and profitability targetsCollaboration & Delivery- Work closely with underwriting, operations, claims, and legal teams- Contribute to team initiatives, product development, and innovation projects- Participate in business planning and cross-functional collaborationTitulaciones- Minimum 5 years’ underwriting experience in the insurance market- Strong technical underwriting knowledge and commercial awareness- Proven ability to build and maintain broker relationships- Excellent organisation and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)- Proactive, resilient, and collaborative approach- Degree in Business, Economics, Law, or similar (preferred)- Business-level English and Spanish required#J-18808-Ljbffr
