About the RoleWe're looking for a

Senior Firmware Engineer

to join a leading semiconductor business. In this role, you'll design, develop, and optimise embedded firmware for cutting-edge hardware, working close to the silicon on performance-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain firmware using

Embedded C

for semiconductor products.

Design and implement solutions on

RTOS

(Real-Time Operating System) platforms.

Work closely with hardware and design teams to bring new products from concept to production.

Debug, test, and optimise firmware for reliability, performance, and low-level hardware control.

Contribute to architecture decisions and mentor junior engineers.

What You'll Need

Strong hands-on experience with





Embedded C

development.

Proven expertise working with

RTOS

environments.

Solid understanding of low-level hardware, microcontrollers, and communication protocols.

Background in a high-tech industry.

A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work in a collaborative engineering team.
