As Product Director for Higher Education and K-12, you will own the vision, strategy, and multi-horizon roadmap that differentiates Unit4 in the HE and K-12 market. You’ll lead a vertically focused product effort with dedicated engineering, collaborating with horizontal teams to ensure an end-to-end platform. By translating sector depth into investment-backed requirements, you’ll shape blueprints, templates, and configurations that address funding, governance, and data governance needs.

This role blends industry insight with technology leadership to drive adoption, revenue, and strategic partnerships.

Compensaciones / Incentivos

- Own the HE and K-12 product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with platform strategy and growth targets
- Lead a prioritized product backlog with defined outcomes, success metrics, release plans, and quality criteria
- Translate sector knowledge into investment-backed requirements including problem statements and build-vs-partner decisions
- Define industry-specific solution blueprints, reference configurations, and templates for HE and K-12
- Collaborate with horizontal product teams to reflect HE/K-12 needs in platform investments across finance, HR, procurement, and research management
- Partner with Industry Growth Director on launch readiness, pricing, packaging, and field enablement




- Engage with strategic customers and HE Industry Board to validate roadmap and co-innovate
- Ensure regulatory, accessibility, research-compliance, and provincial requirements are reflected in the roadmap
- Monitor competitive landscape (Ellucian, Workday, Microsoft, Tribal Group) and adjust positioning
- Own feature outcomes and track adoption and impact post-launch
- Serve as internal authority for HE/K-12 verticals to enable sales, marketing, and pre-sales teams
- Extend value with partners to HE and K-12 customers
- Define governance and data-driven metrics to measure customer impact

Responsabilidades

- Proven PM experience building enterprise software for HE or K-12
- Experience shipping products xugodme used by HE finance teams, research administrators, or school board operations
- Deep knowledge of higher education finance (grant accounting, fund accounting, endowments, tuition revenue)
- K-12 specifics: provincial funding formulas, trustee governance, board reporting, and collective agreements
- Understanding of student lifecycle interfaces (financial aid, tuition management, SIS integration)
- Clear view on AI’s role in HE research and administration with governance considerations
- Commercial orientation with focus on ARR, win rate, and retention
- Strong communication with CFOs, VPs of Finance, Superintendents of Business, and senior leaders
