Join AST SpaceMobile as Strategic Sourcing Project Manager to drive global sourcing strategies for aerospace components and advanced materials. You will identify and qualify strategic suppliers across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, ensuring targets for cost, lead time, quality, and innovation. Build business cases, benchmark costs, and manage end-to-end sourcing processes in close collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance.

This role offers the chance to influence global supply chains and support a space-based broadband mission through data-driven decisions and cross-functional partnerships.

- Identify, qualify, and develop new strategic suppliers globally with a focus on aerospace components and advanced materials
- Lead supplier expansion and qualification across Europe, Asia, and the Americas
- Define and execute strategic sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives
- Build and present detailed business cases for sourcing decisions, vendor changes, and cost-saving initiatives
- Conduct cost benchmarking and total cost of ownership analyses
- Develop procurement activity plans and sourcing calendars aligned with project timelines
- Manage large datasets, supplier databases,



and sourcing dashboards for data-driven decisions
- Lead end-to-end sourcing processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP, bid evaluation, contract execution)
- Negotiate complex, high-value supplier contracts focusing on cost, lead time, and performance
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance for supply chain alignment
- Implement supplier performance management programs and monitor KPIs
- Act as SPOC between suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Ensure timely certification, inspection, and delivery of materials per POs
- Track procurement progress, risks, and mitigations using project management tools
- Maintain compliance with aerospace standards and risk xugodme controls
- Support category strategy development and continuous improvement initiatives

Responsabilidades

- A minimum of 5+ years in strategic sourcing and supplier development roles within the aerospace sector
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Strategic Sourcing Management, or related technical discipline
- PMP, CPSM, APICS or similar certifications (preferred)
- Experience managing subcontractors and outsourced warehousing/logistics operations (preferred)
- Knowledge of AS9100 and other aerospace-specific quality standards (preferred)
