We are looking for

- At least 4 years´ experience in agile software environments focused on API or platform delivery.
- Solid understanding of modern API architecture and specifications (REST, OpenAPI, lifecycle).
- Experience with API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, Azure API Management, Kong).
- Solid background in CI/CD (GitLab CI/CD preferred), and release coordination.
- Comfortable engaging with architecture teams to interpret documentation and evaluate design trade-offs.
- Proven ability in vendor management, including coordination and negotiation.
- Experience collaborating in distributed, multicultural environments.




- Advanced English proficiency and excellent communication skills.
- Strategic mindset with global vision.

Your role in the team

Role Overview
We're seeking a strategic and delivery-oriented API Delivery & Governance Lead to oversee the execution of API initiatives as reusable, governed digital products. While this role won’t manage architects directly, it will work hand-in-hand with enterprise architecture, API engineering, and cross-functional business teams to ensure timely and quality delivery. You’ll own the end-to-end delivery pipeline, drive governance adoption, and manage external vendors in a complex, global tech ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead an international API development team, fostering delivery excellence and integral coordination.
- Partner closely with the architecture team to ensure design alignment and scalable solutions.
- Own the full API delivery lifecycle—from planning and backlog management to go-live and monitoring.
- Drive an API-first mindset, ensuring specifications (OpenAPI, versioning, dependencies) are established before build.
- Define and embed governance standards across the API ecosystem, including lifecycle, documentation, and security.
- Coordinate testing, readiness, and release processes with QA, DevOps, and SecOps teams.
- Manage relationships with external vendors to align performance and delivery outcomes.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban) and foster consistent team velocity and transparency.
- Track delivery KPIs (release stability, scope adherence, velocity) and actively mitigate risks and blockers.
- Serve as a conduit between business and technology, ensuring shared understanding and visibility.
