In this Senior Software Developer role, you contribute to the Elasticsearch search relevance initiative, shaping fast, accurate search experiences at scale. You work with a globally distributed team to implement new features, improve relevance, and fix complex bugs, sometimes crafting new algorithms or data structures. You’ll collaborate across functions, influence technical direction, and engage with the open-source community. Responsabilidades
• Experience with search or vector databases at scale
• Proficiency in core Java, including data structures, concurrency, and lambdas
• Ability to lead projects from design through delivery with autonomy
• Experience with distributed, asynchronous collaboration and code reviews
• Familiarity with data storage technologies such as Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
• Proven track record of using AI to accelerate development and optimize code
• Ability to work across functions and adapt to multiple projects/teams
