Job Description

We are looking for a Social & Community Lead to own our digital content, communication, and community strategy across owned platforms in Mexico and the US, within our in-house creative unit.

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role with a dual mandate: delivering marketing objectives through digital, and building a community with true cultural relevance. You will orchestrate organic content and paid media behind a single strategy, and lead a community management team across MX and US.

You’ll work closely with brand, insights, performance, ecommerce, and in-house production/art teams to turn strategy into content that connects — while continuously optimizing based on performance and community signals.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and own the digital content and communication strategy, translating marketing objectives into a social-first plan.

- Define content pillars, tone, and the role of social for each brand and sub-brand.

- Define and optimize the paid media strategy behind social (primarily Meta and TikTok).

- Build and nurture the brand community across owned platforms in Mexico and the US.

- Generate clear,



single-minded briefings for content production and art teams.

- Administer the social budget (organic content + paid media), maximizing impact per invested peso.

- Build dashboards, KPIs, and tracking for quantitative decision-making.

- Lead, develop, and coach the Community Managers (MX & US).

- 5+ years in digitally-focused creative agencies working with mass-consumption (CPG) brands.

- 5+ years creating content (UGC and audiovisual) for culturally relevant brands.

- 3+ years managing paid media on social platforms (Meta and TikTok primarily), with direct budget ownership.

- People leadership experience (this role manages 2 direct reports).

- Bilingual English/Spanish, full oral and written command (the role manages the US community); Spanish native.

- Bachelor's degree — field open; ideally Communication, Advertising, Digital Marketing, or a creative field.

- Eligible to work in Mexico. Able to work on-site in Guadalajara and relocate if needed.

- Availability to travel occasionally (~30%: shoots, activations, US market immersion).

Nice to have

- Client-side experience within a mass-consumption (CPG) brand.

- Experience managing brands outside Mexico (US market a plus).

- Experience managing sports / lifestyle brands.

Technical Skills

- Digital & Social Strategy: digital content strategy, community building, content pillars, social-first communication, digital culture creation.

- Paid Media: ad serving, media strategy on Meta and TikTok, budget optimization, full-funnel media.

- Content & Tools: content creation tools, UGC and audiovisual formats, social platform management, analytics and dashboarding tools, AI-assisted content tools. xcgbitx
