The Senior Accounting Manager within the Accounting Center of Excellence (CoE) will be responsible for leading the accounting operations of specific business units and activities. This role involves managing a team of accounting professionals, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The idóneo candidate will have extensive accounting experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

What you will be doing:
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10 - 20 people in various roles between accounting managers, supervisors/seniors and accountants, across multiple sites and locations, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, set goals and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
- Plan and manage team workload to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-training within the team.




- Collaborate with other CoE leadership to drive standardization and process enhancements across the organization.

Close Effectiveness
- Oversee the accounting close process across the financial statements and supplemental data gathering for all relevant sites, ensuring data is accurate and OneStream submission and controls deadlines are met effectively and consistently.
- Support team in performing Monthly Balance Sheet reviews and working with the business and SSC (Shared Service Centre) to ensure compliance with US GAAP and JBT Marel standards.
- Actively lead and participate in the effort of the team to investigate and resolve accounting issues effectively and timely.
- Ensure integrity and reliability of all financial transactions and that they are in accordance with US GAAP and JBT Marel standards, including compliance with SOX.
