Welo Data is looking for careful listeners and skilled transcribers to join a AI training data project for one of the world's leading voice AI platforms. Your work will directly improve how the platform understands Catalan dialect.

Responsibilities

- Listen to short audio clips and transcribe exactly what was said.
- Follow a clear, well-documented style guide for punctuation, formatting, and audio flags.
- Flag clips with background noise, cut‑off speech, or unclear audio using simple codes.
- Work at your own pace — just keep an average of ~125 seconds per task.

Project Details

- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 3 weeks, possibility of extension
- Commitment: 10-20 hours per week for up to 6 weeks
- Location: Spain
- Language: Catalan
- Pay Rate: $21.09/hour

Requirements

- Native or near‑native fluency in target locale – Catalan.




- Strong written language skills, including awareness of punctuation and sentence structure.
- Reliable computer, high-quality headphones, stable internet connection.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to apply structured guidelines consistently.
- Prior experience in transcription, data annotation, or related field is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to commit to 10-12 hours per week for the full 6‑week project duration.
