As Engineering Director for Acquisition u0026amp; Retention, you shape and lead large-scale software initiatives that drive new customer acquisition and sustained engagement. You will align engineering strategy with business priorities, improve system quality and ownership, and scale capabilities across loyalty, pricing, and customer experience. You’ll champion AI-enabled delivery and cross-team collaboration to accelerate impact while maintaining sustainable engineering practices. This role offers influence over a multinational tech stack and opportunities to transform how customers discover and stay with the brand.

• Define and lead engineering strategy for Acquisition u0026 Retention aligned with business outcomes
• Drive simplification and scalability across loyalty, pricing, customer communications, data, and growth experiences
• Improve engineering maturity across planning, architecture, quality, reliability, observability, and incident management
• Identify pragmatic opportunities for AI and automation to boost developer productivity and operational efficiency
• Balance short-term delivery with long-term technical sustainability
• Develop engineering strategy incorporating emerging tech and AI-enabled delivery models
• Ensure architectural integrity and scalability across systems
• Implement metrics for productivity, cycle time, MTTR, deployment frequency, and quality
• Own OPEX and CAPEX planning, forecasting, and budget control
• Establish security, privacy, and compliance standards across engineering
• Partner with Product,



Design, Analytics, and Business teams to deliver high-impact experiences
• Lead talent management, hiring, and leadership development
• Foster a culture of innovation, transparency, ownership, and continuous improvement
• Own end-to-end engineering execution ensuring alignment with business outcomes
• Drive AI-powered SDLC enhancements such as code generation, intelligent reviews, and automated documentation
• Ensure system reliability, observability through AI-assisted monitoring and frameworks
• Mentor engineering leaders and architects
• Promote cross-location and cross-domain collaboration

Responsabilidades
• Experience defining and delivering technical strategy across AdTech, MarTech, Loyalty, Pricing, and Customer Data ecosystems
• Experience improving engineering maturity in growing complex organizations
• Strong product and business partnership
• Effective communication, judgment, and decision-making
• Ability to work across organizational boundaries and lead through ambiguity
• Strong architectural judgment for scalable, reliable systems
• Experience with AI and automation technologies for productivity (generative AI tooling, automated QA, AIOps)
• 15+ years of software engineering experience and 7+ years managing large engineering organizations
