Experteer Overview
In this role, you will lead the design, development, and governance of the Fabric data plane, delivering certified, semantic data products with trusted data contracts and provenance. You will oversee an AI-driven data platform and the Asset Registry, enabling reliable lineage, quality signals, and retrieval foundations for AI and BI use cases. You’ll manage a team of AI Data Engineers to build modular data models, pipelines, and standards that scale across multiple data sources. You will partner with domain owners to ensure data reliability, efficiency, and accessibility while advancing automation of curation with AI.

• Own certified, versioned data products and semantic models with certification tiers
• Maintain Asset Registry, lineage, and data-quality signals
• Support Lakehouse, vector, and graph retrieval foundations
• Oversee agentic workloads: metadata generation, entity resolution, quality scoring, content classification
• Direct solid-line management of AI Data Engineers in pods
• Lead design and implementation of modular data models, pipelines, and data management frameworks
• Define data engineering priorities and establish standards for reliability, efficiency,



quality, compatibility, and accessibility
• Provide technical and organizational leadership for analytics, data science, predictive/prescriptive modeling, and automation initiatives

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent
• 10+ years of experience leading people, projects, or programs
• Proven track record building enterprise data platforms serving production AI systems
• Experience with semantic layers, ontologies, or knowledge representation at scale
• Deep familiarity with lakehouse, vector, and graph tech; experience with Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, or similar multi-cloud platforms
• Experience managing data contracts, lineage, and certification models in regulated industries; life sciences or GxP exposure a plus
• Curiosity about AI, its potential and pitfalls; lifelong learner with ability to reinvent toolkit
• Excellent communication and influencing skills in cross-functional contexts
• Ability to automate curation with AI rather than scaling via headcount
