Experteer Overview
In this role you will define and execute the resin sourcing strategy for the EMEA region, building strategic supplier partnerships to ensure high-quality materials at optimal TCO. You will align with global procurement goals, drive category initiatives, and lead supplier optimization and risk management. Working with cross-functional stakeholders, you will shape procurement programs, push for cost reductions, and strengthen supply resilience. This leadership position offers the opportunity to influence long-term growth through strategic sourcing and supplier value creation.

• Develop and implement the resin category strategy aligned with regional and general purchasing plans
• Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the resin supply chain
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create effective sourcing strategies ensuring service quality and cost reductions
• Represent site needs in purchasing strategies and coordinate with cluster/site management
• Track savings, monitor TCO and working capital improvements using existing tools
• Assess and manage category risks and contribute to a risk strategy with mitigations
• Manage the supplier base,



drive global category spend optimization, and implement best practices
• Monitor purchasing integration in core business processes and ensure adherence to standards
• Provide input to the Purchasing policy and share market insights with leadership
• Identify purchasing gaps and evolving category issues through industry and supplier analysis

Responsabilidades
• 8+ years of procurement and category management experience
• Experience in commodity procurement (polymers, steel, agricultural, etc.)
• Background in FMCG and/or packaging procurement is advantageous
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, negotiations, and cost optimization in a multinational environment
• Strong negotiation skills, benchmarking, supplier inquiries, and sourcing activities
• Curious mindset with interest in global economic and market trends
• Solid project management with ability to handle multiple priorities and stakeholders
• Proactive, independent, and able to drive initiatives from concept to execution
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
