Our client is a recognized player in transport, logistics and distribution, operating in a demanding, service-driven environment. As part of the development and structuring of its activities in Belgium, we are looking for an Operations Director.

Your role

As Regional Operations Director, you will be responsible for the overall performance of Belgian sites.

You will ensure the deployment of the operational strategy, drive economic and operational performance, guarantee service quality, develop management teams and lead continuous improvement across the sites under your responsibility.

Your main responsibilities

- Translate the company’s strategy into concrete operational action plans in your area.
- Drive economic and operational performance: budget, margin, costs, performance ratios and action plans.
- Lead, support and develop site managers and operational managers.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, regulatory and internal standards.
- Monitor operational and quality KPIs: lead times, complaints, customer satisfaction, productivity and profitability.




- Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement projects.
- Maintain strong relationships with strategic customers, transport providers and logistics partners.

Your profile

- Proven experience in transport and logistics.
- Significant experience in multi-site management and/or regional operations leadership.
- Strong understanding of performance, profitability, service quality and customer satisfaction challenges.
- Ability to manage budgets, analyze financial indicators and make fact-based decisions.
- Natural leadership, with the ability to engage teams and support change.
- Structured and hands-on profile, able to take a strategic view while staying close to operations.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders.
- Fluent French, Dutch and English.

The position can be based on one of the company’s sites in Belgium and requires regular travel across Belgian operations.
