Main responsibilities:
- Temporary support within the procurement team of one of our clients active in the industrial sector.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for IT and Information Systems categories, in collaboration with the respective General Category Manager(s).
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for IT/IS suppliers and services: sourcing, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and performance management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals responsible for indirect procurement categories across the Belgian organization.
- And, in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders, to:
- Translate business needs into procurement requirements
- Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and supplier innovations
- Drive procurement best practices and continuous improvement
- Set performance objectives and conduct regular performance reviews
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and regulatory requirements
Your profile:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT/IS procurement with strong sourcing and negotiation skills.
- Previous experience in a leadership or team management role within procurement.
- Deep understanding of IT hardware, software, and cloud services.
- Good knowledge of English and French. Dutch is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
- Proficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems (SAP is a plus).
