The INCLIVA Foundation is a Health Research Institute accredited by the Carlos III Health Institute and as such an Agent of the National Science and Technology System.
Although, it is part of the public sector of the Generalitat Valenciana, has legal personality of a private nature, and is governed by the private legal system and its specific legislation, without prejudice to the rules of public law that are applicable to it.

A position is hereby announced for a Recognised Researcher (R2A) (Postdoctoral Researcher) to carry out the project "EMPOWER-HFpEF: Early Multimodal Program to Optimize Well-being, Functional Capacity and Events Reduction in Patients with Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction (HFpEF)" (Reference: CIPROM/2026/39) within the Heart Failure Research Group, Cardiovascular Area, under the supervision of Dr Patricia Palau.

Job responsibilities:

- Operational coordination of the project and support to the Principal Investigator.
- Recruitment, assessment, and follow-up of study participants.
- Coordination of study visits and management of trial documentation.
- Collection, verification, and quality control of clinical data.
- Management and maintenance of research databases.
- Coordination with the multidisciplinary professionals involved in the project.
- Preparation of scientific communications and peer-reviewed publications.
- Contribution to the preparation of scientific reports, project reports, and technical and financial deliverables.
- Any other duties related to the successful scientific and technical implementation of the project.

Skills/Qualifications

1. Training Qualifications (10-75 points)

1.1 Teaching experience related to the duties of the position:
0.05 points per hour of teaching delivered, up to a maximum of 5 points.

1.2 Supervision of Bachelor's Degree Final Projects (Bachelor's Theses):
1 point per supervised project, up to a maximum of 5 points.

2. Language Skills (5-15 points)

2.1 English language proficiency:

- B1: 2 points
- B2: 3 points
- C1: 4 points
- C2: 5 points

3. Professional Experience and Skills Relevant to the Position (0-75 points)





3.1 Documented professional experience in a cardiorespiratory physiotherapy programme for patients with heart failure. Clinical research experience in this field will be considered an asset.
10 points per full year of experience, up to a maximum of 40 points. Periods of less than one year will be calculated on a pro-rata basis by completed months.

3.2 Presentations at scientific conferences in the field of cardiovascular research:
2.5 points per presentation, up to a maximum of 10 points.

3.3 Scientific publications in the field of cardiovascular research:
5 points per publication, up to a maximum of 20 points.

3.4 Participation in competitive research projects:
2.5 points for each national project and 5 points for each European project, up to a maximum of 5 points.

Specific Requirements

- Possession of the physical and psychological abilities and aptitudes necessary for the performance of the corresponding duties or tasks, to be certified by the applicant through a sworn statement at the time of application for the call.
- Possess Spanish nationality, a work permit, or any other nationality that allows access to public sector employment. If the selected candidate does not hold such authorization, the contract shall not be formalized until the relevant documentation is in order. Should this process not be completed within the timeframe established by the Evaluation Committee, the selected candidate shall not be hired; in such case, the position may be declared vacant or awarded to the next-ranked candidate, if an order of preference has been established in the resolution.




- Be at least 16 years of age and not exceed, where applicable, the mandatory retirement age or any other age limit established by law.
- Not be subject to any incompatibility that would prevent the performance of duties under the general regime within a public sector entity, as declared through a sworn statement submitted with the application.
- Not be disqualified by final court judgment from performing duties similar to those of the professional category or group being applied for. For nationals of other states, not be disqualified or in an equivalent situation in their country that would prevent access to public employment. This requirement shall be certified by sworn statement in the application.
- If previously employed by Fundación INCLIVA, not have been dismissed for disciplinary reasons deemed justified by the Foundation.
- If previously employed by Fundación INCLIVA in the advertised position, have successfully completed.
