Title: Collaboration Agreement between the Regional Ministry of Education, Science, Universities and Vocational Training and the University of A Coruña (UDC) for the implementation of strategic R&D;&I; actions **********)

Funding Period: 1 January **** to 31 October ****

Host Institution / Principal Investigator's Centre: Vice?Rectorate for Research and Knowledge Transfer

Workplace and Working Hours: Central Research Services Building, AXD Space, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimise data architecture and ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) processes.
- Automate critical processes and orchestrate scheduled tasks.
- Integrate systems through the development and consumption of REST web services (REST APIs).
- Develop analytical data models and visualisation products to support decision?making.
- Manage, deploy,



and orchestrate container infrastructure in Linux environments.

Context and Objectives

The University of A Coruña (UDC), committed to academic and research excellence, seeks to strengthen its data management and analysis capabilities.

The Data Engineering and Analytics Support Officer will enhance the Data Analysis and Management Unit (AXD) capacity to manage and analyse research?related data, support data?driven decision?making, and prepare technical reports for the R&D;&I; strategy.

Qualifications And Requirements

- Relevant academic degree or equivalent experience in computer science, data engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in data architecture, ETL design, and workflow automation.
- Proficiency in REST API development and consumption.
- Knowledge of data modelling, visualisation tools, and analytical techniques.
- Experience with container orchestration in Linux environments.
- Strong problem?solving and communication skills.
