Research Field Engineering » Aerospace engineering Education Level PhD or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications

- Field of experience: Aerospace Engineering or related fields, particularly Aircraft Design and Manufacturing.
- Independent research potential, critical thinking, ability to cope with innovation and interdisciplinarity.
- Postdoctoral experience of up to 6 years

Research duties

- To help consolidate a competitive research program in one or more areas of Aerospace Engineering
- To help build competitive proposals for research funding
- To publish impactful scientific contributions
- To advise PhD Theses.
- All expected management, representation, and dissemination activities of faculty members.

General contractual conditions:

- Gross salary 38-41 k€/year.
- Options for additional salary supplements offered by UC3M and based on productivity and excellence
- Standard benefits, including Health care under the Spanish National System.
- Contract Start: February 2026, preferably.
- The duration of the contract is 2 years. Successful candidates are expected to transition into a tenure-track position after that period.
