Job Information:

- Student: 1 adult
- Class format: Virtual lessons
- Availability: Monday through Thursday evenings, and Friday mornings/afternoons
- Preferred start date: ASAP
- Lesson Frequency: 1 time per week
- Lesson Duration: 1 hour
- Student’s location/time zone: Madrid, Spain (CET)
- Current language level: Beginner
- Native and other spoken languages: Native Spanish, English
- Additional information: The teacher must speak Spanish language to communicate with the client.

Student’s goals (summary):
The student would like to build confidence in conversational Portuguese and develop the ability to use the language effectively in the workplace. Having taken Portuguese lessons years ago, the student is seeking structured support to refresh knowledge and advance in both spoken and practical professional contexts.





Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging and interactive virtual lessons tailored to the student’s professional and conversational needs

- Incorporate real-life and work-related scenarios into lesson content

- Provide structured learning with clear objectives and progress tracking

- Adapt lesson pace and approach to the student’s prior experience and goals

Qualifications:

- Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in Portuguese

- Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field

- Minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably with adults

- Ability to create a supportive and motivating virtual learning environment
