Responsibilities

- Lead the development of sustainability and decarbonisation strategies for buildings and masterplans.
- Deliver environmental and building performance analysis to inform design decisions from early concept stages onwards.
- Develop and apply data-driven and parametric design workflows to support sustainable outcomes.
- Prepare and review technical reports, sustainability strategies, and client presentations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage directly with clients and stakeholders.
- Manage sustainability deliverables, ensuring high-quality project delivery.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of the Sustainable Design team.
- Support innovation, research, and business development activities.

Education

- Degree in Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Sustainability, or a related discipline.
- A Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Design, or Building Physics is desirable

Experience

- Proven experience in sustainable design, environmental consultancy, building performance analysis, or a related field, typically 5+ years.
- Proven experience developing sustainability and decarbonisation strategies for buildings and masterplans.
- Proven experience delivering environmental analysis and building performance assessments throughout the design process.
- Experience supporting project delivery within multidisciplinary design teams.

Technical Knowledge

- Strong understanding of low‑carbon design, building physics,



and environmental performance assessment.
- Experience in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), embodied carbon analysis, and whole‑life carbon assessments using tools such as One Click LCA or similar.
- Experience in environmental simulation tools such as IES VE, EnergyPlus, Radiance, Ladybug Tools, Honeybee, or equivalent.
- Experience with parametric design and early‑stage design tools, particularly Grasshopper, is highly desirable. Experience with Python or other scripting languages is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Rhino, Revit, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of sustainability certification schemes such as LEED, BREEAM, WELL, or Passivhaus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality work.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Proactive mindset with a commitment to innovation and continuous learning.

Languages

- Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Additional languages will be considered an asset.
