Job Overview
Airbus offers a full‑time graduate program in Spain, the Discover II 2026/2027 program. The internship will begin 5 October 2026 and run for 11 months until 1 October 2027. It is a full‑time (40 h/week) position that includes an attractive study grant.
Role and Responsibilities
As a graduate engineer, you will work on the characterization of electromagnetic noise in test‑bench environments for the detection of electric arcs in hybrid aviation using artificial intelligence. Key activities include:
- Evaluate electromagnetic noise present in aircraft wiring.
- Study its impact on the design of electric‑arc detection solutions.
- Use Matlab/Simulink, DOORS, and NShow to support sensor development and algorithm validation.
- Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams to validate detector performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Industrial, Aeronautical, or Telecommunications.
- English proficiency level B2 and Spanish proficiency level B2.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Self‑taught mindset.
