Office‑based role in Barcelona or Madrid.DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR generalist to join our growing team of HR Regional Partners across EMEA. The role is consultative, delivering high‑judgement advice to more than 1400 people managers in 20 countries and helping enable an exceptional employee experience while striving to be Earth’s Best Employer.Amazon HRPs collaborate with HRBPs, centres of excellence—including Employee Services, Compensation & Benefits, and Talent Acquisition—and provide generalist support across corporate business lines.The role is performed through an innovative customer‑relationship‑management tool, enabling the team to identify trending issues and inform decisions and initiatives that standardise best practices across EMEA.Key job responsibilitiesProviding guidance to HR Business Partners and Business Leaders on change‑management initiatives.Managing performance improvement processes, both informal and formal.Handling complex and sensitive employee issues, including investigations, grievances and disciplinary procedures.Facilitating development sessions focused on building manager effectiveness and capability.Guiding Leaders through the Talent Management and Annual Compensation processes.Identifying training opportunities to further develop functional and leadership skills.Supporting Leaders with career conversations and career growth plans.Managing and engaging with Works Councils (Comités de Empresa), including supporting negotiations, facilitating consultations, and ensuring compliance with labour‑relations obligations.A day in the lifeAlongside core case work, the HRP team is responsible for policy and compliance at country level,
staying informed about legislative and Amazon‑driven updates and updating policy documents. The role also involves participating in or leading subject‑matter‑expert groups aimed at improving key HR processes (such as Talent or Performance management) across EMEA or at country or regional level.Basic QualificationsMaster’s degree or above in human resources.Experience in employee relations/labour relations and Spanish labour/employment law.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in a fast‑paced, quickly changing or international environment.Experience coordinating cross‑functional inputs, meeting deadlines, and effectively managing competing priorities.Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritising tasks.Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.Equal Opportunity & Diversity StatementAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
