The role is within the Procurement Operations organization (PI) and is part of the Composites & Chemicals team (PIMC), focusing on securing on time, on quality deliveries to Airbus and its supply base.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinating tactical activities and mid‑term actions with stakeholders in the composites commodity Multi‑Functional Team (MFT) and supporting execution in alignment with agreements.
Ensuring industrial qualification of suppliers and products in line with Airbus requirements.
Managing contract execution and ensuring suppliers deliver on time and on quality.
Ensuring constant compliance of suppliers and products with Airbus requirements.
Managing supplier performance and implementing recovery plans when needed to secure deliveries.
Actively planning, supporting and monitoring supplier development in line with Airbus sourcing strategy.
JOBHOLDER’S ACTIVITIES To be collocated at a supplier plant in Jerez for 80% of the time.
Complement or assume the production control function at the supplier's facilities.
Conduct exhaustive daily monitoring of production progress for the "Omegas" work package, from manual lay‑up to packaging for daily shipment to the Jerez hub.
Provide daily progress reporting.
Act as the focal point at the supplier for the different functions involved in manufacturing.
Be responsible for escalating and flagging any blocking situation that jeopardizes the daily manufacturing target.
Liaise with the respective functions at Airbus Cádiz to resolve blocking points.
Minimum Target:
2 engines/day from Monday to Friday.
Idóneo Target: 12 engines per week.
SKILLS
Engineering or other technical studies.
At least 5 years of working experience, ideally in a related field.
Negotiation level in English and Spanish.
Autonomy.
Effective communication.
Good stakeholder management; enjoys working beyond functions and sigla.
Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
Transnational mindset; intercultural awareness.
