Overview

We are seeking a Chief Officer/1st Mate for a 54m motor yacht currently located in Spain. The successful candidate will manage the deck department, ensuring the safety and efficiency of all operations on board. The role requires a strong commitment to safety practices and effective communication skills to coordinate with both crew and guests. The cruising itinerary will focus on the local area.

Salary is to be determined based on experience and qualifications. This is a permanent position on a yacht with a crew of nine, offering a cabin share arrangement. Plenty of deck work and administration. Responsibilities

Manage the deck department and oversee the crew. Maintain navigational equipment and ensure compliance with maritime regulations. Coordinate safety practices on board and with guests. Qualifications

All basic maritime certificates. Preference for Chief Mate 3000gt certification. Strong safety mindset and effective communication skills. Conditions
