Role Description This is a full-time, on-site English Language Teacher role based in Madrid at Impulse English Academy La Vaguada. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging English lessons for children, teens, and adults in small groups, following the academy’s dynamic methodology and exam preparation programs.

Daily responsibilities include creating lesson plans aligned with official exam requirements (e.g., Cambridge, Trinity, IELTS), assessing learner progress, providing individualized feedback, and maintaining clear records of attendance and evaluation. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development,



participating in staff meetings and training, and maintaining regular communication with learners and families when appropriate. The teacher will contribute to a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages learner participation, confidence, and consistent progress.

Qualifications

- Strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience instructing diverse age groups and proficiency levels.
- Proven Lesson Planning abilities, including designing structured, engaging lessons aligned with exam preparation and curriculum goals.
- Background in Education or a related field, with a solid understanding of language acquisition and classroom management.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting effectively with learners, families, and colleagues in a multicultural environment.
- C2-level English proficiency or native-equivalent command, with clear and accurate spoken and written language.
- Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., CELTA, Trinity TESOL, PGCE, or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience preparing students for official English exams (Cambridge, Trinity, IELTS, or similar) is highly valued.
- Ability to work on-site in Madrid, manage a full-time schedule, and adapt to flexible afternoon or evening timetables.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a learner-centered, inclusive teaching approach.
