We're looking for a

Footwear & Accessories Designer with a strong creative vision and solid technical expertise to lead the development of these categories within our collections.

As a Footwear & Accessories Designer at Gimaguas, you will be responsible for driving the creative and technical development of each collection, taking products from concept through to final production.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design of the footwear and accessories: including bags and small accessories within each collection.

Develop technical packs and detailed product specifications.

Research trends, materials, constructions, components and manufacturing techniques aligned with the Gimaguas universe.

Develop concepts, moodboards and creative proposals.

Design footwear and accessories, including materials, constructions, hardware, finishes, colours and silhouettes.

Follow up on technical development together with suppliers, factories and the product team.

Review prototypes, samples and fittings, ensuring the highest standards of quality, fit and execution.

Collaborate with the rest of the design team to ensure collection consistency.

Support other product categories according to team needs (cross‑functional vision).

Requirements





4+ years of experience designing footwear and/or accessories within a contemporary, premium or luxury fashion brand.

Strong technical knowledge of footwear and accessories development, construction and manufacturing processes.

Experience creating detailed technical packs and working directly with factories.

Strong understanding of materials, leathers, textiles, hardware and product development.

Excellent aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail.

Ability to balance creativity with technical problem‑solving.

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (knowledge of Rhino, CLO or similar software is a plus).
