Job description

The Team
We are seeking a qualified lawyer (5-8 years PQE) who is fluent in English and Spanish and, preferably, also in Portuguese to join our EMEA legal team.
The successful candidate will have primary responsibility for providing legal support to the business in Spain and Portugal and will also work on data privacy projects in the EMEA region. Ideally,



we would like a lawyer with experience of working on technology transactions but we are particularly keen to find candidates who are passionate about technology, Cloud, big data, analytics and new emerging technologies such as the Internet of Things.

The Role
- Providing transaction support for direct and indirect sales, working as an integrated and essential part of the business teams within the company’s legal entities located in Spain and Portugal.
- Providing advice on the GDPR and working with the data privacy team in EMEA and globally.
- Assisting the legal team in EMEA-wide legal initiatives including supporting corporate functions such as marketing and HR and liaising with the general legal team on cross-jurisdictional projects, compliance and export matters.
- Involvement in the project management of roll-out and localization of EMEA-wide legal infrastructure (e.g. template contracts, drafting databases, training and playbooks) based on key business strategies of the above groups by the
