About the role
We are seeking a Senior Regional Functional Consultant to lead the Commerce & Marketing IT landscape across the region. This role will act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring solutions drive commercial outcomes while maintaining architectural integrity and delivery quality. The successful candidate will be a seasoned SAP professional with deep functional expertise and proven FMCG experience.
Key responsibilities
Own the Commerce & Marketing IT domain for the region, setting direction and priorities.
Provide functional leadership for SAP S/4HANA and related commercial platforms, including solution definition and configuration oversight.
Define domain standards, review solution designs, and enforce best practices to ensure fit-for-purpose, scalable solutions.
Lead governance, planning, stakeholder management, and budget oversight for domain initiatives.
Coordinate and manage external implementation and integration partners to deliver on time and to specification.




Drive cross-functional integration between SAP and surrounding systems to ensure seamless end-to-end processes.
Support business transformation programs within Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Operations, translating strategy into executable IT solutions.
Identify and embed AI and automation capabilities where they add value to business processes.
Ensure alignment between business requirements, enterprise architecture, and delivery execution.
Required skills & experience
8+ years of experience in functional business analysis, acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver effective solutions.
Demonstrated experience in optimizing and enhancing commercial and marketing processes, with strong expertise in Route-to-Market (RTM), Revenue Growth Management (RGM), trade promotion, pricing, and distributor management.
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA within an FMCG environment. E
