This role will be responsible for the creation and leadership of a new global Distribution & Technology business vertical within Almar Water. Once the business is consolidated and scaled, this vertical is expected to transition to the direct corporate governance of the Group’s parent company, Abdul Latif Jameel (ALJ).

The purpose of the position is to design, build and lead a global distribution platform focused exclusively on water-related products, technologies and consumables, with a strong emphasis on strategic partnerships with Asian (primarily Chinese) manufacturers, leveraging Almar Water’s existing international subsidiaries as the initial commercial channel.

Functions and Responsibilities:
- Design, launch and scale the new Distribution & Technology Vertical within Almar Water.
- Establish governance, operating model and strategic roadmap aligned with future integration into Abdul Latif Jameel (ALJ).
- Identify, qualify and engage manufacturers in the water sector (technology, chemicals, consumables, cartridges, membranes, spare parts, instrumentation).
- Lead negotiations for distribution, preferential or exclusive agreements, including commercial, logistical, IP and brand considerations.
- Define and manage a global supply chain and logistics model supporting multi-regional operations.
- Act as the integral interface between suppliers and Almar Water’s regional subsidiaries (Australia, Middle East – particularly Saudi Arabia, North Africa, Latin America).
- Enable internal sales channels through portfolio definition, pricing models, training and technical suppor
