Description The E2E Capacity team within the EU Trans S&OP; organization is looking for a customer-focused, analytically and technically skilled Inventory Planner/Program Manager. In this role, you will drive change and improvements across the organization, always thinking about the bigger picture, pioneering new ways of thinking to deliver optimized customer speed and delivery accuracy at the planned cost. You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the business, continuously scope out new solutions for ambiguous challenges, and conduct research and analysis with an eye on the long-term vision of the business and the maximization of customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Create innovative solutions using data and analysis to address wider challenges in your organization, and liaise with stakeholders across the Amazon operations business to implement these solutions.

Take a big-picture approach in your analysis of business operations, creating processes for driving improvements across a range of teams and organizations.

Work alongside leadership to establish and prioritize improvement programs, taking the lead in delivering them from start to finish and frequently reporting on the program status.

Challenge the status quo on the outbound transportation and supply chain processes with partner teams to create and manage an end-to-end EU capacity roadmap that drives excellence in delivering customer experience at the planned cost.

Play a key role in planning and executing Amazon's key sales events,



working with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure the right Trans capacity is available in the right part of the network, to meet or exceed customer experience.

A Day in the Life

Drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change, leading improvement projects and programs.

Be a key cog in the central team that coordinates EU Trans Capacity availability and gap closure actions during the planning and execution phases of high-volume events such as Prime Week and Black Friday.

Build a plan, iterate, execute, form lessons learned to improve, and apply those learnings to optimize processes for the future.

Communicate and attain buy-in for plans from senior leadership.

About the Team The team specializes in end-to-end transport and supply chain optimization and has a program management and analytics focus to drive excellence in outbound operations planning.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or experience in problem solving and data analytics.

Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English.

Experience in capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or equivalent.

Experience with operations/supply chain.

Experience in Excel with advanced proficiency (pivots, lookups, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree or above in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent.

Knowledge of database systems and SQL.

Experience managing competing priorities across a wide range of stakeholders.
