We are currently looking for experienced Legal Translation SMEs for a short-term freelance project (approximately 4 months) involving translation review and validation.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on an AI-focused language project where your expertise will directly contribute to improving and fine-tuning an existing AI model.

Role Overview The selected SME will be responsible for:

Reviewing and validating AI-generated legal translations

Correcting translation inaccuracies and linguistic errors

Ensuring legal terminology and contextual accuracy

Providing high-quality linguistic feedback to support AI model refinement

Participating in an initial Time & Motion study for effort estimation and project planning

Required Skills & Qualifications

Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish

Strong proficiency in English and Spanish

Proven experience in legal translation, legal documentation, or legal publishing

Strong understanding of legal terminology and contextual nuances

Prior experience in translation review, localization QA, or AI validation projects is preferred

Ability to work independently and meet quality expectations
