As the Manufacturing Excellence Specialist, you’re a key member of our Operational Excellence community, reporting to the Plant Manager. You will contribute to the success of Ball by driving Continuous Improvement activities and leading the implementation and sustainment of Ball’s Operational Excellence (BOE/BME) pillars across the plant. In this role, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams on all shifts to embed standardized processes, improve site performance, and strengthen capability through coaching and training.
Your work will directly support improvements in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and productivity—helping our plant achieve operational excellence and long‑term business success.
Key Responsibilities
Leading the execution and sustainment of BOE/BME pillars and Standard Operating Procedures across the plant
Driving continuous improvement projects that generate measurable results in safety, quality, productivity, cost, and delivery
Facilitating problem‑solving activities and coaching employees at all levels to build CI capability and ownership
Collaborating with operations teams across shifts to ensure consistent execution and alignment to standards
Supporting governance and compliance, ensuring BOE and safety standards are adhered to in all improvement activities
Tracking performance metrics and progress against plant objectives and communicating achievements and opportunities
Promoting a culture of learning, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience in production or maintenance within a manufacturing environment
Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing others in Continuous Improvement techniques
Proven ability to lead change, influence stakeholders, and drive a culture of continuous improvement
Working knowledge of Lean / CI principles (Green Belt or similar preferred)
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; data‑driven decision making
Ability to work effectively across multiple shifts and cross‑functional teams
Proficiency in English and Spanish; Catalan is an advantage
Hands‑on, proactive mindset with focus on safety, quality, and operational discipline

Job Details Job Grade: Global Grade 11 Work Environment: This role requires on‑site presence at our Llinars del Vallès plant
Hiring Range: 49,000 - 70,000 EUR gross per year. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market benchmarks. Depending on these factors, the vigente offer may fall above or below the posted range.
Incentive Plan: This position is eligible to participate in Ball’s annual incentive compensation program.
