Location Granada. Territory to cover: Granada, Jaen, Almeria.
Your new role As a Regional Medical Advisor (RMA) – also known as Medical Scientific Liaison – you will translate Novo Nordisk’s medical strategy into impactful local strategies and action plans within the cardiometabolic arena. You will be a key partner for healthcare professionals and internal teams, working cross‑functionally with Medical Managers, Sales, Market Access and Marketing to drive scientific strategies and meaningful relationships with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute the Regional Medical Plan according to the Medical Strategy and business goals.
Build and maintain scientific relationships: establish, nurture, and expand evidence‑based relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, specialists and other relevant stakeholders to drive scientific exchange and advocacy for Novo Nordisk’s portfolio.
Provide quality medical and scientific support, education and training to internal & external customers through scientific meetings, symposia, workshops and e‑channels; facilitate scientific exchange to enhance understanding of company products and therapeutic areas.
Collect, analyse and provide insights for key business decisions across the value chain based on unmet patient needs, physician needs and healthcare system demands.
Provide medical support for local needs for the development portfolio, including identification of sites for clinical trials, assessment of feasibility and patient recruitment through KOL relationships.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Life Sciences.
Experience as Medical Scientific Liaison / Regional Medical Advisor in a pharmaceutical company.
Proven ability to build relationships with HCPs/KOLs and to communicate complex scientific information clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Previous experience in cardiometabolic, cardiovascular, diabetes and/or obesity areas is a plus.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
Availability to travel 70% of the time.
Department The Field Medical Affairs team within the Medical Affairs Department is dedicated to advancing Novo Nordisk’s mission of improving the lives of people with chronic diseases by providing healthcare professionals with the latest scientific information and insights on innovative therapies. The team engages with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers to enhance understanding, facilitate discussions that lead to better patient management, and inform internal stakeholders about evolving medical needs.
Benefits & Compensation Salary:
Annual base salary ranges from €69,080.00 to €115,360.00, calibrated to the position level. Placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge and relevant experience.
