A330 B1/B2 Aircraft Maintenance Technician – Airbus Defence and Space SAU, Final Assembly Line (FAL) team, Getafe, Madrid Double shift.

Responsibilities

Prepare, perform and certify base and line maintenance works as a B1 certifying staff, assisting a small team of non‑licensed technicians when needed.

Implement aircraft preparation for flight by executing items listed in the Test Preparation Sheet (TPS) issued by FlightOps for each flight.

Carry out production works to ready the aircraft for ground test managed by MRTT Design Office and supervised by FAL‑Quality, and support the execution of tests.

Perform retrofit mechanical works and tests in accordance with service bulletins or job cards.

Fix discrepancies, troubleshoot, handle and service aircraft issues.

Provide support at ADS customer sites during aircraft delivery, ground and flight test campaigns, implement Services Bulletins on site, and carry out conversion works at subcontractor premises.

Assist the Flight Line Centre – AG4 organization with A330 MRTT and A310 DEMO when required.

Obtain and maintain National and NATO clearance (HPS, SC).

Qualifications and Skills

Valid EASA PART 66 Category B1 aircraft rating for Airbus A330 (RR Trent 700 & GE CF6) – mandatory.

Valid EASA PART 66 Category B2 rating for A330 – highly recommended.





Minimum 5 years of experience in an Airbus aircraft maintenance environment and at least 2 years on A330 (RR Trent 700 or GE CF6).

Must provide records demonstrating up‑to‑date continuous training and EASA compliance.

Fluent English, Spanish negotiation level.

Willing to work abroad periodically for limited periods.

Strong knowledge of aircraft health and safety procedures, technical data interpretation, and maintenance manual usage.
