Overview Experteer Overview In this role you will lead biomarker statistics across studies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan, analyze, and report biomarker and genomics results. You will shape the Biomarker Evaluation Plan and contribute to clinical development discussions, including AI/ML approaches. The position involves independent leadership of biomarker studies and production of statistically sound deliverables.

You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment driving biomarker science to inform decision-making. This opportunity offers impact in biomarker research within a general organization.

Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute and analyze biomarker aspects (including genomics) of clinical studies as biomarker statistician

Develop Biomarker Evaluation Plan ensuring consistency across projects

Provide statistical input in clinical development discussions, including AI/ML approaches

Coordinate statistical activities for biomarker research and development across studies

Perform and design advanced data analysis for genomics and biomarker statistics, including programming and complex algorithms

Handle RNA, olink and other biomarker data





Ensure accuracy of Biomarker Evaluation Report and interpretation of results

Work independently on routine and complex statistical questions and models

Develop and implement standard processes for biomarker analysis

Lead biomarker studies with minimal supervision

Possibly lead multiple studies/projects for biomarker-focused initiatives

Qualifications PhD or MSc in Biostatistics, Statistics or Mathematics, or related field

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Minimal supervision required

Experience with AI and ML approaches

Previous experience in independently leading biomarker study (mandatory)

Previous clinical trial or industry experience preferred

Strong knowledge on Biomarker evaluation, especially in immunology and infections, type I diabetes biology

Good knowledge of statistical programming languages including R (Bioconductor and related packages) and Python

Experience in analyzing high-dimensional data
