As a Product Designer II on the Subscription Growth team, you will own end-to-end design for commerce and subscription experiences, from acquisition to retention. You’ll work across WSJ, Barron’s, MarketWatch, and related brands to deliver coherent patterns and measurable growth. Partnering with Product, Marketing, Engineering, Research, and Brand, you’ll craft flows, visuals, prototypes, and experiments to optimize conversion and engagement.
This role supports the FY27 Commerce priorities with a strong emphasis on craft and impact.

Own end-to-end design for Commerce and subscription experiences across acquisition, onboarding, subscription management, and conversion optimization from problem definition to launch and optimization
Navigate multiple concurrent workstreams to drive high-impact, revenue-generating initiatives while maintaining craft
Lead user flows, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping to produce production-ready designs for engineering
Design and run experiments with hypotheses, identify funnel drop-offs, and leverage results to improve conversion and engagement
Collaborate across WSJ, Barron’s, MarketWatch, and related brands, balancing consistency with brand-specific needs while contributing reusable Commerce patterns that build on the Index Design System
Partner with Product, Marketing, Engineering, Research,
and Brand to translate business objectives into customer‑centric experiences, presenting clear rationale grounded in design principles and user insight
Mentor Product Designer I colleagues through feedback, pairing, and knowledge sharing to connect design decisions to business outcomes
Responsabilidades
3‑5+ years of product design experience owning complex features end-to-end
Portfolio showing end-to-end design for complex digital products, preferably subscription/ecommerce/media/SaaS
Strong visual design craft with mastery of typography, layout, color, and interaction patterns
Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Research, and Brand
Hands‑on strength in user flows, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and experimentation with funnel metrics
Strong systems thinking and experience with design systems; ability to contribute patterns
Excellence in Figma with ability to produce detailed specs and interactive prototypes
Deep understanding of design fundamentals and accessibility standards (WCAG) with principled decision‑making
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Design, HCI, or related field is a plus
